We Made It!

Wow, Shop Hop was a whirlwind this year! A huge thanks goes out to everyone who participated. You guys made Shop Hop so fun, and better than ever before! The 14 day event came to a close on Saturday and today we’ll be drawing for all the prizes. I got to see the 30+ prize baskets at Sages Creek the other day and they sure are covet-worthy. Stay tuned for news about the winners!

We were so impressed this year with how dedicated the shop hoppers are, and we know lots of photos were taken along then way. If you’d like to share your photos with us and see them here on our site, just email them to shophop@supposecreatedelight.com.  Thanks!

Shop Profile: Stitch ‘n Time

Howdy from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I’m Kim and I have been the owner of Stitch ‘n Time
since 1999. Our store has been around for almost 40 years! We are “Jackson Hole’s Largest
Fabric, Quilting and Craft Center”. We are also the only fabric store in Jackson Hole!

We, of course, specialize in western and wildlife fabrics and this is what we feature on our
website (www.stitchntimeinc.com).

We also have a large selection of batiks (my favorite fabrics) and some fabrics not usually found
in quilt shops – minkee, fleece, satins, denim and home decorating.

We feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful place and we have a couple local designers that have
designed patterns and printed photos on fabric for our tourists to take home as souvenirs. Susan
and Annie – Susannie – have designed and printed fabrics with photos like nothing you’ve seen
before.

We also have a craft department and have been working with Nancie Miller, Sea Star Designs to
stock a wonderful bead wall.

We closed for a week during spring break and did some rearranging and painting. So the store
will have a new look when you visit us this year.

Here’s a sneak peek at our table runner – can you guess which month we have? We can’t wait
to see old and new friends at the 2012 Shop Hop – so put on your running shoes and head up the
hill. Stitch ‘n Time will be ready to greet the hoppers!

Shop Profile: My Girlfriend’s Quilt Shoppe

Hello Fellow Shop Hoppers!

My name is Kris and I am the lucky owner of a brand-new quilt shop located in Logan, Utah.  In June we will be celebrating our 1st birthday! Everyone at our shop is very excited to meet you at the “On the Trail” Shop Hop. Here are a few photos of what I call my “2nd home!” ha, ha

We like to say that, “The Road to a Quilt Shop is Never Long.” I’m sure each one of you would agree that traveling the shop hop is one of the most fun experiences a quilter can have! I promise we’ll make it worth your while to come to Logan!

We carry a good mix of both modern and traditional fabrics from designers and companies such as French General, Joel Dewberry, Three Sisters, Joanna Figaroua, Amy Butler, Sandi Hendersen, Lori Holt, Riley Blake, Nancy Halvorson, Ty Pennington, Michael Miller, Bonnie & Camille, Kansas Troubles, Basic Grey, Jo Morton, Anna Griffin and many, many more! We’re also looking forward here shortly to expanding our offerings to batiks!

One of the reasons why moms and grandmas enjoy shopping here is because of our children’s corner! And yes, that is a REAL tree! (Covered with fabric of course!) Now you can shop in peace knowing that the lil’ ones are having a lot of fun themselves!

And finally, here’s one more pic to maybe peek your interest! We have something very special about to take place just right before you come, so you’ll be some of the first to see what it is!

I hope this helps give you a better idea of what our shop is all about! We are so excited to be in it this year with so many incredible shops to see! We hope you’ll come see us and our friends at Stylish Fabrics here in Logan, Utah! It will be a beautiful drive this time of year!

We’re continuing our shop profiles today so we can introduce you to The Ribbon Retreat in Shelley, Idaho.

Hi! My name is Lanae and I’m so excited to introduce you to our shop! As our name states, we sell ribbon! And lots of it!! :) The Ribbon Retreat opened 6 years ago and we ship beautiful packages of ribbon and fabric all over the world. Last year we decided to open a separate retail shop (almost next door to our shipping warehouse), allowing us to accommodate all of our fantastic local customers!

What will you find in our shop? ALL of our designer fabrics, including Amy Butler, Moda, Riley Blake, Free Spirit, and more!

You’ll also find a nice selection of ric rac, buttons, flowers, and other notions. Make sure you take a look at our “Pattern Hall” where we have quilt patterns, patterns for your kids, patterns for you, and patterns for your home.

And what about ribbon? Well, we do have a small sampling of ribbon in our retail shop, but you can find ALL of our patterns and designs on our website at www.TheRibbonRetreat.com. Browse around, place an order, and we’ll have it ready for you to pick up in no time!

We’re looking forward to seeing you at this year’s Shop Hop! :)
